Project-Based Learning (PBL) and CLIL

 

Students learn a topic through longer projects that require research, discussion, and presentation.

 

Example Topic: “Save the Ocean”

Activities

  • Read simple English texts about ocean animals

  • Discuss pollution problems (communication)

  • Brainstorm solutions (critical thinking)

  • Work in groups to create posters or videos (collaboration + creativity)

  • Present their solution in English and learn the appropriate vocabulary and grammatical structures (CLIL)

4C Integration

  • Critical thinking → analyze problems

  • Creativity → design solutions/posters

  • Collaboration → group work

  • Communication → presentations in English

Students naturally use English while solving a problem creatively.
